Summer Camps

AHETEMS supports middle and high school student's participation at several university summer camps. Summer programs vary based on the camps emphasize (i.e., computer science; aerospace, or other disciplines). Students spend 4 days on college campuses, living in residence halls and experiencing college life. Participants spend their days visiting engineering departments, talking with professors and college students, and taking field trips to engineering facilities and seeing applications at work. Students also learn about the college admission process, financial aid, and resources and services available to them at the institution. Students have the opportunity to work on exciting team projects and participate in extracurricular activities.
