Con Ganas!: Jaime Escalante To Share Wisdom With Dallas/Fort Worth Community
Mr. Jaime Escalante, renowned Latino math teacher, portrayed in the 1988 movie Stand and Deliver to address youth, parents and the DFW Metroplex community as part of the AHETEMS Distinguished Lecture Series. Mr. Escalante will share his love for math and education with ganas on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 6:00 PM, at the University of Texas at Arlington. The public is invited to attend.
