AHETEMS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE: Postmarked by April 1.

Scholarship recipients will be notified in mid-August. In order to best serve our students, please do not contact the office until late August if you have not received notice of your application status.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Complete the online scholarship application.
  2. Print a copy of the Scholarship Application Page, after you submit your application.
  3. Download the Scholarship Certification Form from the AHETEMS Web site.
  4. Mail the Scholarship Certification Form, Official Transcript, Resume and Letter of Recommendation to AHETEMS postmarked by April 1.
  5. Mail the application to:

DESCRIPTION

Merit-based scholarships awarded, in the amount of $5,000 to undergraduate students, who demonstrate both significant motivation and aptitude for a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 hrs undergraduate) during the academic year at an accredited university in the United States or Puerto Rico.
  • Major in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or Mechanical Engineer, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Materials Science, or Mathematics
  • Attend Alabama A&M University; Auburn University; Cleveland State University; Colorado School of Mines; Georgia Institute of Technology; Howard University; Michigan State University; North Carolina A&T State University; North Dakota Sate University - Fargo; Pennsylvania State University; Purdue University-Calumet; Purdue University- West Lafayette; Southern University; Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville; Southern Illinois University- Carbondale; Tennessee State University; Tuskegee University; University of Alabama - Birmingham; University of Michigan - Dearborn; University of Minnesota; University of Minnesota - Duluth; University of Missouri - Rolla; University of Missouri - Columbia; University of North Dakota - Grand Forks; University of Pennsylvania; University of Pittsburgh; University of Texas at El Paso; Wayne State University; West Virginia University
